Art Journaling With Students

Shape, line, color, pattern, and texture—these are my favorite elements of art and the foundation of what I love to teach. I enjoy mindfully diving into a page and exploring these elements through play.

The small artworks featured here were created during my journaling workshops with students. For me, playfulness is at the heart of the creative process. I encourage my students to experiment, have fun, and discover their own unique style through these core elements of art.
